Tiger Lady

Chinatown, Bangkok. Still Day 2.  I told this woman she needed to pay me 40 Baht for a link to this photo. Paid In Full.

Fruit Man

I'm convinced the peanut man and the fruit man are international spies. The fruit man is the evil one.  Obviously.

Heist

Hour 2.  After he softened us with the temples:  "Can you help me? Today is the last day for a government promotion.  I need you to go to see some gems and jewels. If you go I receive 5 free liters of Gas."  And battered his Thai puppy eyes at us. So we went.  Scenes of our trip to the jewelry showcase.

Around the corner.

Holy Tuk Tuk

The driver took us to an unknown temple down an unknown alley. And it was more who was inside rather than what...

5 Free Liters of Diesel

Bangkok Day 2.  I love Thailand.  We started out early and headed to Soi 38 where we hoped to dine on more street food in Sukhumvit East.  The market was closed.  So we jumped in a cab and headed for -  Turned out to be ... okay.  So we jumped in another cab for a quick ride to a local outdoor market which served as a cafeteria to the local offices. Score.  Though this white man was bumped in line a few times he was able to order a beef stew. Then found some Thai Ice Team Ice Cream with a bottoming (rather than topping of corn).  Next a fifteen minute lost stroll. Where upon we bumped into our Tuk Tuk guide for the next six hours.  20 Baht an hour... I fell in love with him too.  He chauffeured us to lesser known holy haunts. Much quieter temples and shrines. Down alleys of fruition.   And of course to a jewelry showcase for his government sponsored 5 Free liters of diesel fuel.  After the cased and robbed the jewelry joint we somehow ended up having an early dinner in Chinatown.

Burning Love

The Squatter Restaurant

What to eat next - in Chinatown @ TKs Seafood.  A mobile restaurant that only sets up during certain times of the week right on the sidewalk.

So much food, so little time.

Curried Seafood. The winner of the night.
