After 19.5 hours, two servings of chicken and rice, and a frozen ham sandwich (thanks American Airlines) we went to eat at the department store near our hotel. A department store in Shibuya that has an endless food court including a sushi joint so tasty the wait was over 2.5 hours (25 ppl + waiting in line), a food court that had several gourmet grocers tucked away in the basement, and a Cold Stone Creamery. I voted for Stone Cold, but was flat-out denied. We ate at Tonkatsu Wako- I like saying the name- TONKATSU WAKO! A Katsudan restaurant. All Katsudan... all the time. One large bottle of Kirin, two servings of Katsudan, with clam miso soup, shredded cabbage, and a bowl of rice apparently delivered from the gods. The rice had this texture that made me want to order 3 more bowls.

Food Court is not a Food Court
