Bangkok Day 2. I love Thailand. We started out early and headed to Soi 38 where we hoped to dine on more street food in Sukhumvit East. The market was closed. So we jumped in a cab and headed for - Turned out to be ... okay. So we jumped in another cab for a quick ride to a local outdoor market which served as a cafeteria to the local offices. Score. Though this white man was bumped in line a few times he was able to order a beef stew. Then found some Thai Ice Team Ice Cream with a bottoming (rather than topping of corn). Next a fifteen minute lost stroll. Where upon we bumped into our Tuk Tuk guide for the next six hours. 20 Baht an hour... I fell in love with him too. He chauffeured us to lesser known holy haunts. Much quieter temples and shrines. Down alleys of fruition. And of course to a jewelry showcase for his government sponsored 5 Free liters of diesel fuel. After the cased and robbed the jewelry joint we somehow ended up having an early dinner in Chinatown.
